Toddler and Early Preschool Program

Curriculum Domains for the Toddler and Early Preschool Program include:

Cognitive Skills, such as spatial awareness, pattern recognition, color and shape recognition and problem solving skills.
Language and Math, which focuses on basic foundational skills such as letter and number recognition, sequencing, 1:1 correspondence, etc.
Sensory and Science, with simple science experiments and sensory exploration such as sand, shaving cream, water and so much more.
Art, which focuses on process-based art and expressive movement. The children will begin to explore multiple mediums and loose parts play.
Large Motor Movement, which acts as an outlet for expressive movement and full body exercise.
Group and Dramatic Play, which allows opportunities for children to build relationships with their peers and explore imaginative play.

Toddlers

18 Months to 24 Months

We support our toddlers growing curiosity by encouraging hands on, child led activities. They are ready to follow two-step directions, learn songs, rhymes, sort objects, and enjoy dramatic play. We begin practicing taking turns and setting boundaries.

EPS 1

24 Months to 30 Months

Our EPS 1 classroom focuses on expanding our littles skillsets and helping them further explore the world around them. We begin experimenting with cooking exercises and independence.

EPS 2

30 Months to 36 Months

Our EPS 2 class focuses in on furthering our students knowledge of foundational academic skills in preparation for the Bear Cave. We practice our tabletop skills and participate in teacher led and child led activities simultaneously.

EPS 3

Early 3's

Our EPS 3 class is our last Early Preschool class before we move onto Preschool. We continue to build on the foundation we have built in previous classrooms. We practice independence, turn taking and rotations. We also assist in potty training in this classroom.
